The Do’s And Dont’s Of A Cellular Phone Battery

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Neil_Day]Neil Day After the performance and features of the cell phone, nothing is more important than the life of the cellular phone battery. The longer the battery life, the more talking before it needs a recharge. Eventually your cellular phone battery will wear out. It wont hold its charge as long and your talk time will be noticeably diminished. At that point its time to get a new battery. Make sure you get the correct battery for your cell phone model. If its the wrong one, it wont fit. There are actually three different types of materials that make a cellular phone battery. The metals are nickel metal hydride, nickel cadmium and lithium ion. The lithium ion cellular phone battery is the most common because it has the longest battery life, about 3 to 5 hours of talk time. They can be recharged around 200 times before you need to purchase a new one. When you replace your cellular phone battery, make sure to dispose of the old one at the correct hazardous waste place or at a store that will accept old batteries to be disposed. The cellular phone battery should be stored at room temperature as extremes in heat and cold can damage it. Wait till the battery has completely run dry before recharging. These batteries have a memory, which means that if it normally would have 2 hours of talk time, and you recharged at 1 hours of talk time, then thats the max charging the battery will accept now. Youll be stuck at 1 hours of talk time. Read the instructions on charging and recharging the cellular phone battery and make sure you dont overcharge as well. When purchasing a replacement cellular phone battery, I would suggest buying only OEM (original equipment manufacturer). There have been problems with third party cell phone batteries blowing up. They were sold and made specifically for a certain phone model, but if the battery was manufactured incorrectly it will overheat and blow up during charging. OEM batteries are more expensive, but I think they are well worth the cost. You can charge up your cellular phone battery with an AC adapter (desktop charger) or car adapter charger. You will generally have to buy the car adapter separately but I have found it to be invaluable on trips. You can buy the car charger from the same store that you bought the cell phone. Make sure you check the make and model number so that you buy the correct one for your phone. Have You Lost Touch with Your Hunger Signals?

By Janice Elizabeth Small Every human being is born with the ability to eat only when hungry and stop eating when satisfied. After all every baby and toddler will show you exactly when they’ve had enough. But somehow along the way you may have lost that ability. Maybe years of being told to “clean your plate” have conditioned you to do just that no matter how much food is on it. Or maybe you’ve just got used to huge portions of food and have stopped listening to your body’s signals. Whatever the reason, the “knowing when to stop” skill is one that you need to redevelop if you want to lose weight and keep it off permanently. So how can you learn to listen to those signals again? 1. Eat slowly If you shovel in food like it’s going out of fashion you’ll be well past the point of being satisfied before you notice you’ve had enough. Pause before each bite and think about whether you’ve really had enough. 2. Eat more often If you are absolutely ravenous when you sit down to eat chances are that you will eat too much. Little and often will acclimatise your stomach to smaller amounts of food. 3. Serve smaller portions If something is on your plate, chances are you will eat it whether or not you need it. So serve less to start with. Having to go and get another portion gives you the chance to stop and think about whether you really need more. As a guide serve no more than two fistfuls of food as a main meal plus maybe some extra salad or vegetables. You really don’t need more than that if you’re eating regularly. 4. Leave extra food off the table Don’t make it too easy to fill up your plate with second helpings. 5. Single-portion snacks Never eat from the bag. Always serve yourself a portion on a plate and put the rest (far) away. Make every decision to eat more food a conscious decision. 6. Wear tighter clothing Stretchy clothes are comfortable but a nice snug fitting waistband is a good reminder to go easy on the amount you’re eating. 7. Eat at home Avoid eating out where you have little control over portion sizes. If you have no choice, choose the smallest portion of food. For example you can order the kid’s meal at a hamburger place or order a starter portion as a main course in a restaurant. 8. Make it satisfying If you still feel hungry even though you are physically full it may be that the meal was lacking in something you were looking for. Was there a balance of carbohydrate, protein and healthy fat? Was it packed full of vitamins and minerals? Did you serve the kind of food you wanted (sweet, crunchy, creamy or whatever)? Food needs to be balanced and worthwhile to be truly satisfying. 9. Eat when you’re hungry Don’t feel you have to eat just because it’s time for lunch or dinner. Wait until you are ready for food. Every diet book advises you to eat breakfast but if you’re not hungry you can wait. The trick there however is to take your healthy breakfast to wherever you’re going rather than to start devouring cakes and cookies once you get hungry later on. 10. Follow your own signals So much of our eating is triggered by the food we see or smell or get offered by others. Start becoming aware of how much this affects you. Once you recognise that you are choosing to eat solely in response to an ad or an offer of food it will be easier to say “No, I’m not hungry, thanks”. Career Advice: Winning the Career Game Calls for Putting on a Game Face

By Cathy Goodwin Q. Yesterday I was interviewed for a job that sounds really good. One question stumped me: What kind of boss do you like to work for? Caught by surprise, I said, I like a boss whos available to answer questions and give me feedback. How do I prepare for next time? A. Whether youre interviewing for a job, networking or making a client presentation, youve entered a business relationship. And business relationships differ from friendships. So when you enter a business or a sports arena, you put on a uniform and wear your game face. You follow the rules. Long-time successful players (like Diana Taurasi and Michael Jordan) know the rules so well they can trust their intuition. But most of us will view networking events and interviews as, well, a new ball game. We dont practice every day. Whole years even decades go by without a job interview. So when we come to the game, most of us need to be self-consciously aware of what we are doing. 1. Focus on the game, not your feelings. Before and after your business encounter, you can (and should) share feelings and concerns openly with a coach, consultant or counselor. But when youre face to face in a business meeting, your game face becomes part of your dress-for-success plan. A networking acquaintance asks, How are things going? You know he doesnt want to hear about problems with suppliers, child care or your crazy boss. Time to share a success story, matter-of-factly, without bragging. 2. Create your playbook before you enter the arena. Anticipate questions whenever possible. Talk to others with more recent experience. The other team has a three-point lead and you have sixty seconds left in the game. They have the ball. I must admit I was surprised the first time I heard a sportscaster explain, At this level, the coach has already diagrammed the plays for situations like this one. But it makes sense for sports and business, too. 3. Create a game plan for surprises. You cant plan for every contingency. Opposing coaches come up with creative plays and interviewers come back from a conference with new questions. One trick I share with clients: As you hear each question, ask yourself, What answer will show I understand the game and am prepared to play by the rules? So youre asked, What kind of boss do you like? Most likely, your prospective employer doesnt care what style of leadership you prefer. If youre working for a big company, chances are youll have multiple bosses in one year, each with different personalities, management styles and expectations. But your company does care about accomplishment. For a for-profit company, you might talk about working for a results-oriented boss. You then talk about the importance of contributing to the bottom line. Non-profits are guided by mission so you fine-tune your response. 4. Recognize that the game can change in the blink of an eye. Of course, you may realize that you will not be able to function in the environment presented by this organization. You can withdraw from the game altogether. But I encourage clients not to leave too fast. Just as a basketball game can reverse in the last twenty seconds, a job can change overnight. Literally. 5. Plan for getaways. Some people live for their game and their work. I know some Internet marketers who work sixteen hours a day happily. Some players and coaches live for the game, especially during March Madness. They relax by shooting around on the court. But most of us need breaks and getaways. We need to step back to gain perspective. And everyone I know needs a place to take off the game face and relax, if only for a little while. Is Your Adolescent Sleeping Enough?

By Felicia A. Williams Are they being lazy? Why do they sleep all day long and then stay up all night? During a routine well visit, my son’s pediatrician told me (it’s amazing that my son, who is larger than I am, still sees a pediatrician) that when our kids reach puberty, they begin to stay up late and tend to sleep later in the day. No, he assured me, they are not being lazy. After further research I found that teens seem to develop the late night/late morning sleeping routine because their circadian rhythms change. Circadian rhythms are our body’s natural 24 hour metabolic rhythm. This rhythm affects things such as temperature, hormonal changes sleep/wake patterns and other physiological and biological processes (our internal body clock). Upon further digging, I found that circadian rhythms change because of a hormone called melatonin. This hormone regulates our body’s sleep/wake cycles. Apparently teens produce their melatonin later at night than the rest of the human race. This is why they have a need to go to sleep later and wake up later. How much sleep do teens need? According to the National Sleep Foundation, (NSF) adolescents should get between 8.5 to 9.5 hours of sleep. This is next to impossible with their current school/activity schedules. Right when their bodies are telling them to go to bed late and sleep late, their High School forces them to get up early. My heart goes out to my teen and others. They have to concentrate on grades, become well rounded students in order to apply and be accepted to the college of their choice (or parent’s). There’s peer pressure, youth ministries, gymnastics, football, basketball and/or a part time job. With all of these pressures, the only way they can even try to meet their obligations is to try to ignore their rhythm and miss some of their much needed sleep. Affects of missed sleep: In a 2006 poll on teens and sleep conducted by NSF, they found more than one half of adolescents reported that they felt too tired/sleepy during the day (51%) and or had difficulty falling asleep (51%) at least once a week within the past two weeks. Medical research shows that there is a direct connection between lack of sleep and the following: Inefficient information processing Forgetfulness Increased irritability Anxiety Depression Temporarily lowered IQ (while sleep deprived) Falling asleep in class (research states 20% of HS students do this). Poor athletic performance Slow reaction time in driving. Remedies for lack of sleep: What can we do to help our teens get an adequate amount of sleep? Let’s face it, they are no longer toddlers so we can’t put them in their cribs and make them take a nap. However, there are a few things that can be done to help them out: Set consistent sleep/wake times, including weekends. Sometimes it’s difficult to adhere to these schedules because of other obligations, but do the best you can. They should relax for about a half hour before going to bed. Cut out stimulating things like TV, videogames and the computer. Try reading instead. Avoid caffeine, especially after lunch. Make the bedroom comfortable, cool and dark for sleeping and let the light shine in the morning. The light/dark cycles send signals the brain for sleeping and waking. Avoid all night cram sessions. Remember, the brain, like the rest of the body, needs rest too. It works better when it’s well rested. Nutrition and exercise. A balanced diet along with adequate exercise promotes deep restful sleep. Nap – Sometimes a nap strategically placed during the day can serve as a pick me up. The nap should not be too long or else it will affect night time sleeping. Raising teens is a tough job. Who knows, a properly rested teenager might be a very agreeable teenager. Good Luck! Business Marketing Strategy that Doubles Your Results Through 5 Simple Questions

By Leanne Hoagland-Smith Many small business owners, remember small is defined as companies with under 500 employees, fail to market themselves and consequently continue to lose market share. The inability to increase sales revenue goes beyond the expertise of your sales staff and is directly tied into your marketing plan. First, do you have a marketing plan to deliver your marketing message? How are you marketing yourself and your business? Even if you are a Single Office Home Office Business (SOHO) or home based business, you need a marketing plan. Obviously if you are a larger organization, you understand the value of having such a plan. HINT: If you dont have a plan or have been procrastinating about writing a plan, STOP right now. Find; hire someone to help you write that plan. These plans should be directly tied to your strategic plan of Who Does What By When within your business plan. Read about where to begin at www.processspecialist.com/articles/DoYouKnowandPlanforthe3RsforBusiness.pdf Second, does your marketing message interrupt your prospect or suspect? What makes your message stop your prospects behaviors to want to further listen to what you have to say? Look to those now infamous Super Bowl commercials or even the ever-changing ones on television. Why does one commercial literally STOP YOU? Is it the graphics? Is it the music? Is it the content within the message? HINT: Use some measurable term such as double your results, triple your business, increase profits by 100% to interrupt your prospect. Third, does your marketing message engage your prospect or suspect? OK, now that you have your prospects attention, how do you keep it? This engagement may be just for a few moments as in those 30-second sound bites we hear every day. Engaging your prospect is critical to the success of your marketing strategies. HINT: At this point, you should be providing some benefits that create the Whats In It For Me? Fourth, does your marketing message educate your intended audience? Can you provide some solid education in your message? Citing proven, documented data or statistics helps to solidify your message. For example, within our business services, we provide a student leadership development and interpersonal skills program (Americas Rising Stars). We let parents know that: According to the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), the average national timeframe to earn a 4 year degree is 5.3 years. Many universities report that it will take 6 years to earn a 4 year degree. If you are a parent with a college bound student, would this not be a valuable piece of education? Imagine how much more money the parents are envisioning that they will be spending and if they have more than one college bound student, the numbers are incredibly high and very, very expensive. HINT: Connect the education to the needs of your prospect. Fifth and final question, does your marketing message provide an immediate offer? How many times do you hear? If you call right now, we will reduce the price by $50? or Call right now and you will receive 2 for the price of one. The offer is clearly stated. Why, because the seller, that being you, wants the buyer, that being your prospect, to take action right now, not later, but right now. HINT: Be creative with your message by offering a substantial discount if one buyer secures 10 other buyers. Remember, you absolutely need a marketing plan where your marketing message interrupts, engages, educates and offers. If your current message is not delivering these 4 objectives, then take some time to rework your plan. You will be simply amazed by how quickly your results double. Helping Your Boss Get Better

By Ken Lizotte An item in Sales & Marketing Management Magazine really caught my eye one day, not so much for what it actually said but for what it COULD have said. In a report on reader responses to a survey about the performances of their bosses and their bosses skill levels, the magazine stated: “While respondents gave their managers high ratings in the areas of selling and personal skills, they gave poor marks for their management skills. More than 33% rated their managers at less than 50 (on a scale of 100) in terms of capability.” Our first reaction to such a commentary might be, Gee whiz, what a mess! Those respondents have it rough. Why doesnt somebody whip these ill-gotten, nudnik managers into shape? But a more effective reaction to such distressing news might more likely be found by activating a less-conventional approach. While true that these respondents companies ought to be packing their managers away to a good old-fashioned management-skills training program, one thing is nonetheless for certain: no matter how much we advocate such actions here, most companies still will not do so. Never have, never will. Instead, most managers will be left to struggle along, alone. It unfortunately has always seemed to be the prevailing practice at too many companies to promote an individual to management because she/he has been sensational at something elsehigh-scoring sales rep, great-with-people HR practitioner, financial whiz kid. On becoming a manager, however, its assumed that the title and increased salary was all the higher-ups needed to do. Youve got the job, goes the message, now go take charge and just do it. Poof! Youre a manager now youre different. Is this how it happened to YOUR manager/boss, or even to you? If so, where does that leave you both? Wallowing in chads of inexperience and skills deficiencies, Ill wager. I suggest not taking this at face value. Time to set things right! Though a sad reality has brought you to this fate, youre by no means doomed to it. Though everyone else may be suffering, how about you taking some action? Only YOU can help your boss get his or her job done. And yes, I know, I know: Weve been conditioned to think of ourselves as lower than our bosses and certainly not responsible for helping them figure out how to do their jobs. Why should we, after all? Arent theyre getting paid more than we are to know what to do. The hard reality though is this: If we do NOT help our bosses, we lose too. In fact, everybody goes down with the ship, together there will be no survivors. So ask yourself these questions: What advice could you offer your manager? Are there resources you could locate that would help current and future projects succeed? How could teamwork in your department run smoother, objectives become sharper, paperwork and busywork decrease? Next step two: How could you (carefully, courteously, subtly) communicate what it is that you do so as to augment your bosss skill gaps? Can you help him learns from your efforts, absorb insights, acquire the skill of performing such tasks himself? The trick here is to seek out ways to eradicate that old devil hierarchy snobbery, ringing constantly in your head (and mine). Instead, get on with the business of making everyone around you– boss and colleague– look stellar. For you personally, this sort of behavior will develop your own management skills and likely display you as an ace performer, propelling your own climb up the management staircase. When you get there, as a bonus, you may not be in dire need of similar help or skills catch-up, as scads of others before you have needed. By reaching out to help your boss, youll be training yourself. Ken Lizotte CMC is Chief Imaginative Officer (CIO) of emerson consulting group inc. Choices on Infertility Drugs

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Low_Jeremy] Low Jeremy Infertility drugs are normally employed in conjunction with other infertility techniques when a couple or a person is diagnosed of infertility. Since infertility by nature is a complex condition, many methods are required before any possible diagnosis is created. Without the extensive and comprehensive procedures that delve into even the smallest details of the condition, diagnosis may be impossible. Thus the impossibility of creating a treatment program for the patients. If in case a woman is said to have problems associated with ovulation, it is likely that she would be prescribed of ovulation infertility drugs. The main underlying principle of which is for ovulation stimulation. The initial step may be marked with the use of clomiphene. If this doesn’t work, the patient may move to more advanced form of treatment like the use of HCG or human chorionic gonadotropin that is normally employed in combination with other infertility drugs. Clomiphene or Clomid while being more popular with female infertility treatment is also used as an effective prescription with male-associated infertility. Clomid is the pioneer in the industry. While its use may be traced for as far as some thirty years ago, no major complications are yet discovered that are closely connected with the use of the drug. In fact, cases of birth defects, complications in pregnancy and difficulty of labor are not evident when this infertility drug is used. Clomiphene is a prescription-only drug, which appears in tablet forms. HCG, on the other hand, is used only as injection under the strict guidance of a physician. Administration of Clomid will increase the presence of hormones responsible in ovulation. It affects the workings of the four major reproductive hormones namely follicle stimulating hormone or FSH, luteinizing hormone or LH, estradiol and gonadotropins. HCG is sold under brand names like Profasi, Gonic and Pregnyl. This works on both male and women infertility. For males, HCG increases the production of androgen while it helps release more estrogen in women. HCG is linked with weight loss though. However, there are still no evidences that will prove these assertions. Thus, the use of HCG in such programs is questionable. Other synthetically prepared hormones like Urofollotropins are used in inducing ovulation. Reminders: When under an infertility drug treatment, be sure to disclose all necessary details to your physician. These include information like medical history, other drugs presently used, details on known origin of infertility like childhood diseases and ailments and others. Simple Weight Loss Plan

By Michael Contaro The math is pretty simple. One pound of fat equals 3500 calories. Want to lose a pound a week? Then you need to consume 3500 calories less per week than you use. That’s about 500 calories a day. By cutting out 500 calories a day from your normal daily diet, while keeping your activity level the same, you can lose approximately one pound a week. All right – that doesn’t sound like much, especially if you’re more than 25 pounds overweight. Study after study has shown, though, that those people who lose weight gradually – at a rate of 1-2 pounds per week -are far more likely to keep the weight off and maintain a normal weight for a lifetime. So how much exactly IS 500 calories? If you’re going to reduce your daily intake by 500 calories, it helps to know what you need to cut out, right? Here’s how easy it is to lose 500 calories a day: * Use milk instead of cream in your coffee. Savings? 50 calories per cup. * Skip the butter on your baked potato. Savings? 100 calories * Drink fruit-flavored water instead of a 16 ounce soda. Savings? 200 calories * Skip the Big Mac and have a salad instead. A Big Mac weighs in at a whopping 460 calories. A fresh salad with a light dressing? Less than 100! Savings? 360 calories * Pass by the bag of potato chips. An average snack size bag of chips has over 300 calories. Savings? 300 calories * Eat your corn on the ear. A 1 cup serving of canned corn has 165 calories. An ear of corn has 85. Savings? 80 calories. * Switch to low-fat cream cheese on your bagel. Savings? 90 calories per ounce. * Love those fries and can’t give them up? Swap the skinny fries out for thick steak-cut ones. Thin French fries absorb more oil than the thicker, meatier ones. Savings? 50 calories per 4 ounce serving If you’d rather look at losing weight from an exercise perspective, you can also lose one pound a week by upping your activity level by 500 calories a day. How easy is that to do? Take a look: * Take a half-hour walk around the park. Aim for a pace that’s a little faster than a stroll, but not fast enough to be breathless. Burn: 160 calories. * Get out your bike and take a ride. Tackle a few moderate hills and aim for about five miles total. Burn: 250 calories * Go dancing – and really DANCE. The longer you’re out on the floor instead of at the table drinking up high-calorie drinks, the more you’ll get out of it. Dancing that makes you breathless and warms up your body will net you a nice calorie savings. Burn: 400 calories for one hour * Swimming is great for you, and a lot of fun, too. The water resistance means you burn more calories, and you avoid the stress impact on joints from aerobics, dancing or walking. Do a few laps at a slow crawl – if you can get up to an hour you’ll be doing great! Burn: 510 calories * Get out into your garden. An hour of gardening tasks that includes bending and stretching can burn up to as many calories as a brisk walk. Burn: 250 calories. * Play a game of tennis. Hook up with a friend for a weekly tennis game and you’ll be amazed at the difference. One hour of vigorous tennis is one of the best calorie burners around. Burn: 800 calories Its important to keep in mind that all exercise/calorie numbers are based on a woman weighing 130 pounds. If you weigh more, you’ll burn more. Want an added bonus to burning calories through exercise? When you exercise, you build muscle by converting it from fat. Three guesses which kind of body tissue burns more calories – even when you’re not exercising. You got it – your body uses more energy to maintain and feed muscle than it does fat. For best results, mix and match food savings with exercises that burn calories. Do keep in mind that eating less than 1000 calories a day for more than a few days will convince your body that it’s starving and slow your metabolism. Keep calorie ranges reasonable, and consult a doctor if you want a quicker, more drastic weight loss. Christianity Under Siege

By Philip Harris Wherever one turns, basic Christian precepts and dogmas are under attack. From the film THE SECRET, The DaVinci Code, the History and National Geographic TV channels, the Jesus Papers, Gospel of Judas, Gospel of Mary, and the recently released novel, Waking God, the very foundations of the Christian body of churches have been forced into the trenches. Long held beliefs and myths are being exposed and open to close examination, forcing even the most faithful to question the true history of their religions. While there have always been doubters, skeptics and blasphemers, the tenacity of the current onslaught is relentless. The texts of the suppressed Gnostics have finally made their way into the limelight, and their version of Christianity is far different than that portrayed in the carefully selected Church canons. Fundamental questions are being explored. Was Jesus married? Did he have children? Did he really die on the cross? Was there ever intent to truly form an organized church? Was Jesus even Jewish and did he belong to the secret society known as the Essenes? Did Nazareth exist or was Jesus a Nazarene? Have religious authoritys purposely altered or hidden great spiritual truths? Have secret societies preserved a bloodline or perhaps the teachers DNA? Was Judas, in fact, the greatest of the disciples? History shows that from its inception, the Church came under fire. The difference between then, and now, is that in times gone by, the Church wielded totalitarian powers. It was able to suppress dissent at every turn. The Gnostics were ostracized, the heretics burned at the stake, competing religions destroyed or co-opted, and non-believers had to contend with relentless crusades and holy wars. Things have changed. The long arm of the Church has been reduced in size and power by the Age of Information. No longer in control of this information network and lacking the backing of power-seeking monarchies, the dissemination of alternative versions of church histories can no longer be censored. Beginning in the 1920s, works by such men as H. Spencer Lewis portrayed a totally different version of the Passion and the nature of a man called Jesus. Lewis claimed in several works that Jesus was an initiate of a secret society and that rumors of his death were greatly exaggerated. Many of these ideas have been supported by the Dead Sea Scrolls and other documents. No longer in control of censoring its own history, the Church now finds itself on the cusp of a new age of skepticism and doubt. Most of these ideas have been around for centuries, but suppression and censorship have prevented them from being popularized. Is this siege justified? Is the quest for a new Holy Grail warranted? This observer would say that these efforts are long over due. Christian history and that of most organized religions has been one of blood and deceit. While the Messenger of Christian doctrine can easily lay claim to insights on the true nature of life, much of his message has been perverted, hidden, censored and rewritten. This is not just a Christian issue, all of the major avatars who sought to enlighten humanity have had there messages equally distorted. When one examines the similarities of the basic tenets of all great spiritual teachers, it cannot help but raise the question as to why they have caused so much divisiveness. Almost every organized religion has been the root cause of war, human divisiveness, and human misery. The numbers are open for debate but the range of deaths resulting from religious wars range from several hundred million to a billion. Growing sectarian violence in the Muslim world and current tensions between religions only had weight to this argument. The tragedy of loss of life aside, although not downplayed, is the fact that most major organized religions remove the notion of responsibility from human thought. The concepts of do as you will and all will be forgiven as long as you join my church have given humanity a false belief that we do not reap what we sow. The reward of heaven has driven mankind to the extremes of his nature and forms the basis of the worlds current ills. Terrorism, global rape, the struggle of the poor and homeless, and the lack of basic human freedoms can point their fingers at religions as the root cause of their problems. Why? Because we have been taught that our destiny, our gains and our ills are totally out of our control. If we follow the dictates of religious dogma there is a chance that we might be saved. If we do not, it is certain that we face damnation. We do not have to take responsibility for our actions because if we repent and accept the notion that someone else has died for our sins, then we are off the hook. If we kill in the name of God, all is forgiven. It is okay to stand by and witness genocide as long as we attend our churches and pray for their souls. If something wicked this way comes, it is because we have not prayed enough or filled the plate to overflowing. If something great happens, it is not because of human achievement or the power of our own will, it is because Gods grace descended upon us. Does this mean that there are not well meaning members of these churches, mosques or temples? Of course not! But as long as people believe that they do not control their present or future, they will not act responsibly towards each other or towards the environment. Dr. John Demartini indicated that mans number one fear, that which keeps us from creating our own reality, is the belief that we are breaking the moral and ethical standards of some perceived established authority. In this case, that authority has been religious institutions that claim superior dogma and superior interpretation of the words of the worlds greatest spiritual masters. If there is a siege, it is one of the human spirit seeking truths long suppressed and hidden in an attempt to break down the walls of religious hypocrisy. It is said, All that is hidden will be revealed. This revelation will be one that contains the concept that none will be left behind as humanity seeks a greater and deeper understanding of the Universal truths that guide our existence. Has anyone ever heard of a Buddhist crusade or inquisition? The path of self-discovery does not require the dogma of organized moral authorities. Philip F. Press A prepaid, or pay as you go plan for your cell phone offers the same convenience as a regular plan but with the added benefits of no monthly bill or long term contract. If you have unused minutes leftover at the end of the month, you may want to look into getting a prepaid cell phone. Other situations where prepaid wireless is a good choice would be giving a cell phone to your child and not having to worry about a high bill at the end of the month; if you are visiting the United States and dont want to pay high international roaming fees; and if you have poor credit rating. There are three important things to compare when you look at prepaid plans. Those are refill requirements, cost per minute and fixed costs. The main providers of prepaid cell phones are Cingular, T-Mobile, Verizon, Virgin Mobile, 7-Eleven, Tracfone, Net10 and Boost Mobile. Refill reqirements vary between 30 and 365 days depending on the plan and the company. Cost per minute vary between 10 and 40 cents, and fixed costs vary between zero and $1 per day.
